Ready for hockey season?
by dlabare on October 05, 2007
ELC Technologies has added another amazing rails app to its repertoire. Developed alongside the bright minds at Cisco Systems comes NHL Connect, a social networking site designed to bring NHL fans together to blog about what's on their mind and connect with other individuals who live and breath hockey.
Features
NHL Connect allows users to:
- Upload photos and videos
- Create profiles and network with other members
- Rate other users' content
- Blog about the latest hockey news
- Create and join different groups
- Check what games are scheduled for today
We are currently around 12,000 members strong and growing, so come check us out and see what you've been missing!
This application was built on top of the Connect Engine, a social networking framework developed jointly between Cisco Systems and ELC Technologies. Like what you see at fans.nhl.com? Check out our other rails app running the engine, community.nascar.com.
